All songs were composed, arranged, and produced by Desi. This album was mostly recorded live at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Desi's band at the time was called Razin' Kane. They were asked to be the subject of a recording engineer class. In order to maximize their opportunity to be recorded, they did not track the songs, but played them live, usually in only 2 or 3 takes. Desi sang, played drums and harmonica all at once. One tune "Waveland" was recorded live at Avalon Power Station in Port Saint Lucie, FL with Florida musician friends without tracking. All were mixed and mastered at Avalon Power Station Studio by Joey Butera.
